Regulations
High School Federation rules with Modified clock:
-Games are two 14-minute stop clock halves –
Time Outs:
3 Full Time Outs
“1” additional time-out for each overtime
1st Overtime: 2 minutes (Stop Clock time)
2nd Overtime: Sudden death – 1st basket wins!
Warm Ups/Halftimes: Minimum of
5 minutes
Bonus Free Throws: 1-and-1s on 10th foul. Bonus on13th foul
Forfeits:10-minute
grace period for forfeits on 1st game of the day only!! All other
games will start on time.
Mercy Rule:The game clock will run the last 4 minutes of the
game if the point differential is 20pts or greater in 2nd half.
Pool Tie-Breakers: 1. 2 Teams tied - Head to Head
2. 3 Teams tied - Point Differential System (+15/-15 Max/Min)
(ie. Win by 40 pts, +15 pt
differential)
Sportsmanship:
Players - No fighting will be tolerated. Any player
who is ejected for fighting is immediately suspended for the game.
Coaches - Coaches will be ejected on their 2nd technical and must leave
the building. Any behavior, deemed by the director, that puts the
well being of any player, coach, official, volunteer or spectator in danger will result
in your team being dismissed from the tournament.
Game Times: Please arrive at
least 20 minutes before game time
Home team’s: bench is to the left of the scorer’s table
when facing it.
